Some Past Cases!
EGAD has had the honor to work on some cases of extreme difficulty and excitement! We've worked with celebrities, government officials, famous lawyers, police departments, school administrators and parents.
Below are some of our past cases...
The Case of the Hidden Hot Dog
EGAD was contacted to find out what happened to the 4th hot dog, perfectly prepared for dining upon, by the Trafalger family on May 4th.We quickly found a host of clues, a slightly greasy spot on the patio near the grill, footprints of a canine persuasion leading to a garden area, freshly turned dirt...
We had our suspicions and decided to dig. In no time, due to our skill at reading clues, we found the missing hot dog. We found on it a number of teeth marks that were spaced apart at a size that indicated the culprit might be the family dog, Rex. We summoned Rex to test our theory. We placed the hot dog in the suspect's mouth to compare teeth to marks. We were about to discover the answer when Rex chomped down on the evidence and promptly swallowed it.
Case status - Unsolved
The Case of the Petty Prankster
Egad was called the Wildlife Department to discover why a number of animals were showing signs of jumpiness and unease. EGAD was told there must be a cause for the unusual behavior. We set off and followed several animals that showed many symptoms and decided to do a stakeout.
Success!! The villian soon revealed himself and a chase soon began. The Prankster was evasive and found a small hole leading to an undersea escape route.
Case status - Solved, criminal currently at large
The Case of the Stolen Statue
Egad was called one stormy night with incredible news! Someone had taken the Status of Liberty!! EGAD rushed to the scene to find it was true! The clouds were clearing and the sun was coming up. What could be done?
EGAD followed clues! There were no marks near the statue base that it had been moved, so EGAD knew it must have been flown out... but how? No helicopter noise was reported. A silent airship? AHAH!! EGAD knew it had to be stolen by blimp! EGAD knew there was a blimp landing field in New Jersey, so off we went. Sure enough the statue was there and the blimp was being refilled. The thieves wanted to place the lady on a baseball stadium in Cleveland. EGAD used the blimp to put it back before New Yorkers went to work.
Case status - Solved, criminals sent back to Cleveland
