Just did some checking of the main sites.

Here's the version , number of DLs and date launched:

Spaced Out 2 - 3292 downloads 6/05
Spaced Out 2.1 - 6443 downloads 10/05
Spaced Out 3 - 1083 1/07

Not every site hosting downloads is listed. All the numbers are about 20% low..

SO2 rocks! But for some reason when I go to download SO3 then install, it installs, then when I launch So3, it says "Error, display mode not compatible" how do I get rid of thi so I can play SO3? Question

Ah! This should be fixed in the newest download.... The problem with this is most likely you are playing on a widescreen laptop.

If the bug still persists with the latest download off the front page, or the widescreen isn't the issue, I'll show you some hackery on how to fix it... You'll have to tell me system specs etc. though. Send me a PM!

Just checked download stats again...

Spaced Out 2 - launched 2005:
18,400

Spaced out 3 - Launched 2006:
3,200

That is mainly due to SO3 not being marketed well. Free Download Center never posted it (not sure why). That was before we learned about mass submission using PAD files. We didn't push since Sadistic started SO4 (since dropped for a "tacktics" style game, but not forgotten).

We know those stats are a bit low, since we don't know all the sites that host the downloads.

This site still gets a few visitors... Sorry, but we let it die a while ago.

Sad penguin is still working on SO4 while going to college. Slow process.

When it's done, we will reset everything and do an advertised launch.
